Posted by Professionally, I am starting a new role over at GitHub next week. This is a great opportunity for me, but there are multiple implications to this decision that affect this blog.
- In the short term, my Azure subscriptions will be completely reset/deleted
- In the longer term, my focus is shifting to more DevOps, (specifically GitHub), and less Azure
Within this process, I need time to ramp up in the new role and assess the future of this blog, in the meantime, pausing new posts. Should it shift to more DevOps topics? Should I rebuild the website with GitHub, and migrate away from Azure DevOps? “SamLearnsAzure” doesn’t make as much sense anymore – perhaps I should rebrand to SamLearnsDevOps or similar?
Until it’s figured out, which is likely to be several weeks, I wanted to say thank you for all of the support, kind words, and interesting conversations!
